This was the year that KBB Ipswich was established, with both Roger and Patrick joining forces again to form a mobile kitchen and bathroom business in a van. In the August, they started to work from Elton Park as their customer base grew and they needed a warehouse to store stock and a place to make up units. They also made room for a very small kitchen showroom that housed one display, with sample doors and units. KBB originally stood for Kitchens, Bathrooms and Building however this later changed to Bedrooms. KBB mainly concentrated its business with the trade sector and gained its first contract with Maxwell Wallace.
